DoorDash Canada + Toronto Blue Jays

“Celebration”

DoorDash Canada wanted to celebrate the Toronto Blue Jays' incredible 2022 MLB season and their post-season run with a nationally aired TV commercial, and we were excited to be a part of it. With a short timeline and various constraints, we had to get creative. We dug through footage provided by DoorDash Canada and the Toronto Blue Jays to craft an epic edit. Then we added bold graphic text animations to really make the video shine. Despite the challenges, we were thrilled with the final video and so were the clients. It was a pleasure to be a part of this celebration and help DoorDash Canada honor the Toronto Blue Jays.

“KWB Canada”

It's March 2020 and DoorDash Canada approached us to  to help them build upon the Kitchens Without Borders series that we worked on for DoorDash in the U.S. However, the pandemic was here and the world was going into lockdown.  A video production spanning all of Canada was not feasible. 

So we proposed a virtual production that would require the help of local photographers.  We conducted video interviews over Zoom with the restaurant owners and asked the local photographers record the audio. We also tasked the photographers with capturing a signature dish as well as some supplimentary images from each location. 

The final result was a series of beautifully designed Instagram carousel ads that leveraged quotes and imagery from each location.

Kitchens Without Borders

Behind every kitchen is a human story.

Kitchens Without Borders (KWB) is DoorDash’s initiative to support immigrant - and refugee-owned businesses. We were brought on to hero these individuals by developing a visual storytelling library that DoorDash can lean on again and again. 

We filmed at several locations per day for a few days, knowing this would be a challenge. So, we conducted pre-interviews with the restaurant owners to help them prep and created a shot list to maintain a consistent look across the different videos.

The final result was a successful campaign highlighting these individual inspiring stories and we were proud to be a part of it. Check out a few select videos below.
